Karimnagar: On Saturday, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, expressed his support for the Union Budget, emphasizing its exceptional nature and its benefits for various sectors of society, including the poor, middle class, farmers, small traders, and young entrepreneurs.

One of the most notable features of the budget is the introduction of tax exemptions for employees earning up to Rs 12 lakh. This measure, which Bandi described as revolutionary, is expected to allow employees to save as much as Rs 80,000 annually.

He remarked, “The budget is the most pro-middle class in the past 75 years. No government has ever offered such favourable conditions to the middle class.” This statement highlights the budget's focus on improving the financial situation of the middle class.

Furthermore, the budget aims to provide substantial support for farmers, particularly in Telangana. Over 50 lakh farmers will be eligible for loans of up to Rs 5 lakh, and Bandi Sanjay encouraged all farmers to apply for Kisan Credit Cards to take advantage of this initiative.

Bandi Sanjay also pointed to the government's broader economic vision, which aims to propel India to become the third-largest economy by 2027, following the United States and China. He believes that the measures outlined in the budget will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's focus on welfare, Bandi Sanjay referred to the budget as a ‘welfare budget for the people’ and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and the Finance Minister for their efforts.

Additionally, Bandi Sanjay called on the opposition to refrain from unwarranted criticism of the budget. He urged the Telangana state government to work collaboratively with the central government to ensure the successful implementation of the budget’s provisions.
