Wilmington Savings Fund Society FSB has taken a new step in its investment strategy by acquiring a stake in the First Trust Nasdaq Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:FTXL) during the third quarter of the year. According to a report from HoldingsChannel, this institutional investor purchased 530 shares valued at approximately $49,000.
In addition to Wilmington Savings Fund Society, several other significant investors have recently adjusted their holdings in the FTXL. For instance, Bank of New York Mellon Corp increased its stake in the First Trust Nasdaq Semiconductor ETF by 2.2% during the second quarter. Following the purchase of an additional 114 shares, Bank of New York Mellon now owns 5,345 shares of the ETF, bringing their total investment in the fund to around $534,000.
